Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. If you are interested in becoming a patient please contact us. We would love to meet you!
Is there a discount for multiple children?
Yes. We do offer a discount for 3 or more children. Contact us for more information.
What if my kids just don't get sick much? Is this model right for us?
Childhood is full of unpredictable illnesses and injuries. When your child needs minor wound repair, has a fever, gets sick while out of town, or needs a last-minute sports physical, we are available.
At a traditional large practice, you might not be able to get in quickly and instead be referred to an urgent care or ER for care that could be provided by a pediatrician. A single visit to an ER or urgent care can carry a cost equal to months (or years!) of personalized care at Little Nest.

Do you accept insurance?
We are an out of network provider. We do not bill insurance for office visits or in office labs. With this model you will never pay a co-pay or receive surprise bills for services rendered.
What if I am out of town and need medical care?
Dr. Irwin will be available via text, call and email no matter where you are. She will help guide you in the right direction for treatment and may even be able to treat virtually.
Do you have a vaccination policy?
Pediatricians are all about preventative medicine and vaccines are a key component to this. While we are open to working with a family on vaccine scheduling, we are not the right fit for a non-vaccinating family.
Do I still need insurance?
We recommend that you continue to have health insurance coverage to cover for emergencies or hospitalizations, to see a specialist, or for prescription medications, lab work, imaging, etc.
How do I pay for membership?
Payment is made via direct bank withdrawal. Credit card can be used for additional fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 30 day notice of cancellation.
