Meet Dr. Irwin
Meredith Irwin, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a board certified general pediatrician with a passion for providing evidence based, up to date medical care with a personal approach.
She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a bachelors degree in Biology ('07). She then went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Louisville earning her medical degree ('11). She completed her training in pediatrics at the University of Louisville ('14).
She was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky where she decided at a young age to pursue a career as a pediatrician. After 3 years of pediatric training she worked as a general outpatient pediatrician for 8 years until moving to New Jersey in 2022. After 2 years, she and her family have fallen in love with Chatham, NJ and plan to raise the family here.
Dr. Irwin has extensive experience in general pediatrics with a special interest in the areas of behavior and development.
She also has interest in the area of Lifestyle medicine which emphasizes the importance of a plant predominant diet, exercise, social life and sleep on a person's well being and health. During the height of the pandemic she achieved board certification in Lifestyle Medicine.
When not practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 young children and pup. Her interests include reading, crafting, hiking, a good cup of coffee, discovering delicious plant based recipes and occasionally binge watching some TV.
