Welcome to the Nest!

Taking a spin in the "egg" chair.
Snacks anyone?

The Waiting Room

By using the side entrance to the building off of the driveway where you park, you will enter the waiting room. While you may not spend much time here, as the chances of any wait are slim, you are welcome to help yourself to an allergy friendly snack, check out a book from Dr. Irwin's personal library of parenting books or take a spin in the patient favorite egg chair.

The Exam Room

When it is time for your appointment, Dr. Irwin will bring you into the exam/play room! No sterile walls here. Dr. Irwin designed this space to be joyful, playful and comfortable. If siblings come along or the patient wants to get their wiggles out, there is plenty of room to move and toys (that are always disinfected) to play with. Dr. Irwin also loves when patients add their own artwork to her wall of creativity!

There is always time discuss whatever your concerns are.

The Visit experience

You never tell the same story twice! When you come in for an appointment Dr. Irwin takes your vital signs and is the one and only person to hear about what is going on with you that day. If an in office test needs to be done she will complete it right in the room with you.

During check ups she will have the time and space to assess a child's developmental skills and dig deep into any concerns you may have. She will also be the one administering vaccines with the aid of pain reducing measures like her favorite "Elsa" spray.

If there are issues that a parent would like to discuss without the child present that is no problem. Parents are always welcome to come alone for consultation or we can talk over the phone/video chat if more convenient.

Before you Leave

You didn't think you would get out of the office without a little treasure did you?! At the end of each visit Dr. Irwin will provide the patient with a sugar free lollipop (or throat soothing one if sick) and the key to a treasure box where the patient is welcome to pick one treasure to bring home.
